#What we do

Ice Lab builds an observability platform for ops teams working with multi-modal data — sports and broadcast footage, film production dailies, robotics telemetry, and AI-generated media.

We index the moments and make them searchable. A production lead saying "the model started drifting in the third act", or a coach saying "show me every time we broke down in transition" — the normal path is scrubbing through hours of footage, frame by frame, until you find what they meant. That is fine at 10 clips a day. It falls apart at 10,000.

Like how Spotify indexes music by turning waveforms into features you can query against, Ice Lab indexes video, audio, and telemetry by turning them into events you can search, replay, and correlate. Existing tools stop at frame-level metadata — codec, bitrate, timestamp. We go past that: what happened, who was in frame, what changed, what broke.

Traditional observability tools filter and aggregate time-series or trace by call graph. We index by event and corpus for search, while keeping storage local and auditable.
